Our Clinical Pilates (as distinct from generic Pilates classes) is provided by a Physiotherapist who is also a Certified Pilates Instructor. She works closely with the individual to help set therapeutic goals that are specific to what they need and carefully selects exercises as part of their injury recovery. This ensures optimal gains while minimizing the likelihood of injury aggravation.

We offer both group and private Pilates sessions:
Our group classes have a small number of participants in order to provide detailed and individualized instructions and involve the use of a Pilates/Yoga mat and small accessories.
To participate in the classes, clients are individually assessed by the physiotherapist and then re-assessed to ensure that the therapeutic goals are being met.
We hold 2 different 6 week group sessions:
Tuesday evening from 7pm-8pm
Wednesday afternoon from 1pm-2pm
Private sessions are also available for clients who require 1:1 attention or would like to have more flexibility in their treatment plan. It can involve the use of specific Pilates spring-loaded equipment & the Pilates Reformer (coming soon).
Your treatment plan can also be mixed with other physiotherapy techniques to ensure that you are receiving the best possible care.
Note: Although Pilates can be extremely beneficial for patients with certain injuries, it needs to be specific to the individual and not used as a generic tool for everyone.
